- Automatic Delivery - We work
on a degree day system which predicts the amount of fuel you have
in
your tank and automatically schedules a delivery when
necessary.
Although automatic delivery is extremely accurate, like just about
anything, it is not 100% guaranteed.
It is always good to check your oil gauge every once in a
while. If your tank gauge ever gets to 1/8 and
we have not made a delivery-contact the office to make sure that
you are on the delivery schedule.
Please note that if anything changes at home that may affect your
oil usage, it is important that you let
us know so that we can adjust your automatic delivery schedule
accordingly.
Some things that may affect your delivery schedule and cause
you to use MORE oil-
Additional people moving into the home (ie: new baby or other
relatives).
Switching work location from working outside the home to working
at home.
Houseguests during the holidays.
Adding an addition or other living space to your home.
Some things that may affect your delivery schedule and cause
you to use LESS oil-
New Windows, insulation, siding, roof etc..
Installation of a new, more efficient boiler or furnace (contact
the office if you would like more
information on installation of a more efficient boiler or furnace).
If you would like to be on automatic delivery, please contact the
office for more details.
WILL CALL
If you prefer to be on a will call status instead of automatic
please give us several days notice so we
can incorporate your delivery into our delivery schedule.
- Number 2 Fuel Oil- Number 2
fuel oil is the most common type of heating oil used today.
This fuel is readily available and is delivered to most of our
business and residential customers.
- Kerosene- Kerosene is a
highly refined fuel oil and is most commonly used in heating
equipment
especially made for kerosene.
- Bioheat® You
can now heat your home or business with a blend of standard oil and oil
which is refined from vegetable oils and recycled cooking grease.
Bioheat® fuel is a blend of No. 2
heating oil and biodiesel – a renewable American fuel.
