About D. Ferruccio & Son, Inc...
D. Ferruccio & Son, Inc. (Ferruccio Oil) was started in the
early 1950's by Dominic Ferruccio. His son
Jack worked part time
while in High School and eventually took over
the business in the early 1950's. Jack's wife Nelda began working alongside
him running the
office. Jack and Nelda continued
running Ferruccio Oil until Jack's retirement in the late
1990's. Jack passed
away in July of 2006. Nelda passed away in November of 2007.
In the late 1960's, Jack and Nelda's son, Kevin began working part
time. He started working full time in 1972. The company
became incorporated in 1978 and at that time, Kevin became
part owner with Jack. Kevin's wife
Beth joined forces with Kevin
in 1996 and they currently own the
business together. They have three children,
Allison, Mark and John. Allison and Mark
currently both work
part time for the company.
Being a local New England company we
are members of the Massachusetts
Oil Heat Council (MOC) and
the New England Fuel Institute (NEFI).
We are happy to accept new clients for
fuel assistance
(if within our delivery area). We are affiliated
with South Middlesex Opportunity Council (SMOC) and the New England
Farm
Workers Council. Ferruccio Oil is also happy to participate in the Citizens Energy Program.
